What is Auto Animate?

Bring your designs to life in seconds

Have you always wanted to animate, but never found the time or money to learn? Most animation tools out there are too complex. Between an irrelevant list of features and special effects you don't need, and an dense UI that makes it impossible to start, you need a better solution than traditional animation apps can give. That's where Linearity Move comes in, with the magic of automatic animation.

Turn static designs into animation

First, create your design in Linearity Curve. Put each major step of your animation in a separate Artboard. For example, if you want a shape to move up, copy it onto another Artboard and move it up to where you want it to end up. Linearity Move will animate this automatically. You can also import projects from Figma, just make sure each step is a separate frame.

If you create your design using Linearity Curve, you'll be able to open your file directly in Linearity Move, since your file will be saved in Linearity Cloud, allowing you to access it from both tools. If you create it in Figma, you'll need to import it separately. With Linearity, there's no need to worry about which file format you need, since you can open your Curve projects directly in Move.

With the Auto Animate feature, Linearity Move will take your Artboards and animate them with just one click. After you've opened your file in Move, just drag your Artboards into the Timeline and hit Import. Linearity Move will recognize the change in state between the Artboards and create an animation automatically. For example, if you have a shape that is yellow on Artboard 1 and red on Artboard 2, Move will automatically create an animated transition between those colors.
