Vectornator on Mac
Vectornator is a powerful vector design platform packed with amazing features, offering an all-in-one solution for your design needs.

We built Vectornator with speed and fluidity in mind. Our Metal-accelerated real-time rendering engine runs on 64-bit architecture, macOS Big Sur systems, and delivers a truly professional performance that punches above its weight class.
We’ve built Vectornator on Mac to match Big Sur's look and interface style, but it uses a similar UI to Vectornator on the iPad, except for the Layers Panel, which on Mac is completely separated from the Inspector thanks to the added screen real estate offered by a bigger screen.
Desktop-Level Precision
Whether you use a mouse, a keyboard, a digital pencil, or your fingers to create your projects, we believe that the next generation of design tools should support you creatively no matter what device or tool that you rely on.
We built our latest iteration of Vectornator to take full advantage of the new M1 Silicon chip from Apple, and it paid off. Our platform is blazing-fast on M1 Macs, and we're confident that the technology will only improve in the future.

Vector Powers
If you're a designer, you need to be working with vectors.
The reason is pretty straightforward: Vectors are infinitely scalable, which is perfect for your art in today's digital world, whether you're designing a Sticker or a Wall Poster. All of Vectornator Tools are optimized to help you create and manipulate vector shapes quickly and easily.

Pro Tip – Use the Pen Tool Shortcuts to easily change the Bezier Nodes of your vector paths.
From the beginning, Vectornator was created with mobile (iPad and iPhone) in mind, unlike older design software platforms like Adobe Illustrator. This focus on mobile first allowed us to offer our users a high level of versatility and mobility. Now that we've brought our product full circle to cover the entire Apple ecosystem, we've kept the spirit of a mobile app and used our sleek mobile UI interface to inform the design of Vectornator for Mac.
At the same time, Vectornator on Mac gives us more space to play around and make improvements, both in terms of memory storage and screen real estate. We moved the Layers and Artboards interface over to the left side of the screen, and combined the Style, Arrange, and Paths tab into a single powerful Inspector to optimize the interface for desktop.
For us, Mac isn't an afterthought. We've used the lessons and advantages of a mobile-first platform to create a desktop version of Vectornator that feels like home.
Cross-Device Design
Vectornator shares the same code base on all platforms. This makes is easy to transfer your design files across your Apple devices, without needing to worry about compatibility. You can start your design project on your iPad and then continue working on your Mac, then make any final last-minute adjustments from your iPhone!

Learn More – Easily export your files from Mac to iPad so you can work on the go.
Infinite Redos
On a lot of design platforms, you can only undo a few of your previous moves. But in Vectornator, because of the power, speed, and increased memory storage space on the M1 Mac, we're able to offer unlimited undo history in your documents - even if you save the project and come back to it later. You'll always be able to try something new and then go back to an earlier stage if you don't like it. So go wild.
Customizable Workflow
No two designers work exactly the same way. That's why we've decided to offer our Mac users robust customization options to personalize their Vectornator workspace. You can change your tool shortcuts to reflect your preferred setup, or change the available options in your Top Toolbar so that your most important features are always easily accessible.
